For Once

April 27, 2017

For once I want a love so ecstatic,
so intense,
it puts all the poetry to shame,
so wild,
it euthanizes the beasts within.

For once I want to make love so rhythmic,
the time dilates.

For once I want to commit a sin,
a sin so devious,
it demands God’s another son be crucified.

For once I thirst for love,
nothing but surreal.

And for once, this once shall occur in a causal loop,
so the time travels,
the logic fucks itself,
and a once perpetuates upon a time.
